Blue Bloods Season 9 Release Date: What’s Going to Happen at the End of Season 9? – FW: Chicago

Blue Bloods Season 9 Release Date: What’s Going to Happen at the End of Season 9?

Tonight’s devastating season premiere of Blue Bloods delved deeper into what actually transpired in Amy Carlson’s character’s untimely death last year, with headless corpses bookending the episode.

Louis Delgado, portrayed by Lou Diamond Phillips, mocks Det. Danny Reagan, portrayed by Donnie Wahlberg, said, “First your house burns down, then a helicopter crashes – that’s some pretty bad luck.”

This was a discovery about Carlson’s Linda Reagan, as both the New Kids on the Block founding member’s character and fans of the extremely well-crafted and widely-viewed Tom Selleck-led NYPD family drama recognized.

Between Seasons 7 and 8 of the Kevin Wade-executive produced series Blue Bloods, the husband of Danny Reagan was murdered in a work-related helicopter crash, to the dismay of many viewers.

Delgado, who was framed by Wahlberg’s Reagan as a traitor to his criminal friends, appeared to face his old fate tonight, or so Blue Bloods would have you believe.

Here is what occurred in the season nine finale of Blue Bloods. The long-running CBS cop drama chronicles the professional and personal lives of the Reagan family, who all serve in New York City law enforcement.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the patriarch of the Reagan family, which includes district attorney Erin (Bridget Moynahan), NYPD detective son Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), and an NYPD sergeant Jamie (Will Estes).

2019 marked the triumphant return of Blue Bloods to CBS for its tenth season. Throughout the show’s many seasons, viewers have observed the Reagan family endure numerous personal tragedies, such as the murder of Frank’s middle son Joe before the series premiere and the assassination of Ronald Reagan.

Blue Bloods Season 9 Cast

Donnie Wahlberg (who plays Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan (who plays Erin Reagan), Will Estes (who plays Jamie Reagan), and Len Cariou are the first actors to be named (Henry Reagan).

Next, Nicky Reagan-Sami Boyle’s Gayle is mentioned for the fifth time in the opening credits. At the end of the main title sequence, there is a “and” credit for Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan.

Marisa Ramirez, who plays Danny’s coworker Detective Maria Baez, and Vanessa Ray, who plays Jamie’s partner Eddie Janko, continue to be credited as “also starring” in Season 9.

Gregory Jbara as Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Garrett Moore, Robert Clohessy as Lt. Sidney Gormley, and Abigail Hawk as Detective Abigail Baker, Frank’s main assistant, all make regular appearances and are called “special guest stars.”

When the eighth season of Blue Bloods came out without Carlson and with almost no explanation, many people were upset. Since Season 1, the ER nurse character has been a mainstay of the show created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess.

However, she was suddenly killed off in a way that wasn’t shown on screen. In the middle of the BTS scandal, Carlson’s seven-year contract on the Big 4 series ended without a proper goodbye. This left a lot of questions unanswered.

Carlson told Nellie Andreeva of Deadline soon after that she thought “it would have been good for the fans to see her die, to be a part of it.”

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past year, it’s that closure is overrated,” Wahlberg’s character Danny Reagan says near the end of the first episode of Blue Bloods’ ninth season when Phillips’ Delgado’s body is found without a head.

But those stories set up the idea that a cartel was responsible for the destruction of the home of the oldest Reagan son at the end of Season 7 and the deaths of his wife and the mother of his two sons. If the Mexican mafia is after the Reagan family, the stakes just got a lot higher. Wahlberg’s Danny is not just an angry detective who got caught up in the drug war, but the son of the NYPD’s top cop.

Blue Bloods Season 9 Plot

Tonight’s Season 9 finale, “Something Blue,” ended with the long-awaited wedding of youngest Reagan’s son Jamie (Will Estes) and his police partner Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray). This changed both the dynamic and the focus of the show, which is one of the most-watched on TV.

Danny and Baez are looking into an attempt on the life of a well-known fertility expert with a perfect record. Eddie is also asked to help Danny’s boys with a problem involving the Reagan family. Erin helps Anthony get justice after a bad date night, and Frank ties up loose ends with an old friend.

At the end of the first hour, there was a terrible scene in which it looked like a nervous Max had pulled over, set Joe’s car on fire, and thrown Joe’s cell phone out the window. However, it turned out that the burned body was actually Max. Joe was able to beat him, so he and Tyce were forced to run away. Thursday, May 14, 2021

The last time the Reagans saw Det. Joe Hill, on the December 18 episode of Blue Bloods, he broke a promise to come to Sunday dinner. But in Friday’s two-hour Season 11 finale, the grandson of police commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), who was just found out about, takes the spotlight.

One thing we’ve learned about TV weddings over time is that you never get as much as you want. So, the writers took their time to get there. They didn’t want to A) scare off viewers who didn’t watch the show for the romance or B) make you think it was too long. Instead, they do it this way, and it makes you want to see more.

Before the wedding, there were a few things to think about with Jamko. The most important was whether or not Eddie would back out. Were there any toes that were cold? We wouldn’t say that, but she seemed worried that she was being forced to fit in with their family while Jamie didn’t do much to accept her own.

This was as unbalanced as it could get, and it was clear that she was worried about losing herself. To put it simply, there wasn’t enough Janko in Jamko.
